I have already tried a lot of Asian restaurants in Cologne and nothing comes close to this place! The food tastes authentic, super fresh and aromatic. Quality is unsurpassable. Even relatively cheap compared to others. So far an insider tip in Cologne :-)

Super tasty, but it was (which speaks only for the shop on Saturday evening) pretty full and we had to wait a little longer. The food itself was really delicious and the variant that in principle all main dishes were either with tofu or meat was ideal for the group of friends. Everyone got their money's worth here. Gladly again!

Lovely family restaurant with a nice, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food that's really gentle on your wallet, at least for Cologne standards. They have the cleanest toilets I've ever seen. I must have come here 10 times! Give them a shot.

Not like Vietnamese cuisine at all! Can't eat anywhere like Vietnamese food, it's better to say that it is Chinese food, and it is a Chinese food that tastes a bit different. We ordered pork fried rice noodles and Thai fried rice noodles. The two bowls that came out were fried noodles, not using glutinous rice noodles or river flour. I feel that they want to make Chinese food like Vietnamese food, for example, add some peanuts or lemongrass leaves; but unfortunately we feel like Chinese fried noodles. However, if you just want to eat Asian food, it is not bad, the price is also cheap (17.2), just come to eat Chinese food!

We were cheated by the restaurant name of “Hoai Viet”. It seems like a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant and itself claims so as well, but it’s not true at all. I do understand that this is Germany not south east Asia, some ingredients might be hard to get, but the food should still be somehow tasted a little bit like Vietnamese or Thai food. I ordered Pad Thai, but turns out it was just a very very regular fried Chinese noodles, NOTHING to do with pad Thai and tasted just like the noodles you can get from all you can eat Chinese buffet. And it’s not even rice noodles as it stated on the menu. Extremely disappointed.

I want to eat hot soup. Came out. The owner was kind and warm and delicious. The taste was the same as usual. Cilantro There was a very small amount I think you should tell me in advance.

Great selection, big menu with lots of appetizers, rice dishes, salads, curries and noodles. Good prices, appetizers from €2.50 and mains at around €8.00.

This was my first time having Vietnamese food and it was really tasty. I loved it

Not so expensive. About 8 Euro for a meal. Sadly not super authentic but still tasty. No bun cha, cafe sua da or tra da. Probably Saigon style.

Actually good. But felt a thousand years waiting for the food. One and a half hours. On drinks also very long. The food is delicious.

Basically good and tasty, but we had to wait a very long time last time - on the service itself and the food. The picture shows mini spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce and fried noodles with vegetables. Still, I would eat there again, hoping that it was just an exception to wait so long. ?

This is where I come when I want to feel cozy and like whoever cooked the food I'm going to eat did it with soul and dedication. I'll just keep coming back, especially on winter!

As a Chinese, the food is delicious! Even better. Everything tasted good, Mr. Ober was totally nice. The prices are very logical. Would definitely go again :)

Very slow service, Pho Bo had too much noodles and very little herbs.

Just OK. Pho Bo is lacking herbs, lime, chilis. Way to much noodles.
